Flatten and Pierce Metal

Stalcop utilizes vertical presses often times as if they were another die and punch station in their headers working in a different axis. This additional tool station performs processes which can not be obtained on the cold header, such as flattening and piercing.

Metal Flattening

The flattening process is really one alternate form of upsetting. It is typically used to make spade connectors.

Metal Piercing

Piercing is one method of providing a through hole in a work piece at much higher rates than drillings and without creating machining shavings.
