Resistance Welding Electrode Caps

Stalcop manufactures resistance welding electrode caps with world class accepted standard CDA Copper Alloy 18150 (RWMA Class 2). The combination of our cold forming process with CDA world class copper material produces an electrode cap that will outperform other RWMA Class 2 material electrode caps. The Zirconium in CDA 18150 Copper Alloy discourages the alloying effect on the electrode cap face and prevents sticking on zinc coated steels. Our cold formed electrode caps feature a continuous grain structure which follows the part contour. This favorable characteristic increases overall strength and performance by eliminating stress risers found in machined parts.

Stalcop DuraCaps™ resistance welding electrode caps conform to RWMA specifications for standard electrode caps.

Stalcop DuraCaps™ can be designed to ISO and DIN specifications. These resistance welding electrode caps are available in various sizes, shapes and tapers (1/9.8, 1/10 and 1/9.6 tapers).

Stalcop is capable of manufacturing resistance welding electrode caps from customer provided / specified materials.
