Paul Starr joins Stalcop as Vice president, Operations

Stalcop LLC is pleased to announce that Paul Starr joined Stalcop US on 17 October 2011 as Vice President, Operations reporting to the Stalcop LLC President and CEO.

Paul is responsible for setting/achieving the manufacturing strategy for production, manufacturing engineering, facilities, quality, supply chain, human resources, LEAN initiatives, customer service, and IT, and the successful execution of the Stalcop US annual operating plan. As the senior operations executive for Stalcop US, he will interact with the President and his counterparts in New Business Development, Sales, and Process Engineering to ensure adequate resources and controls are in place to achieve sales growth, customer and company expectations/objectives. In addition to his executive role, he will manage the day-to-day manufacturing including P&L responsibilities for Stalcop US at the Operations level.

Paul has over 20 years of in depth quality management, operations management and plant management experience with the companies of Dana Corporation, Hayes Lemmerz, Drivesol, and Metaldyne. His most recent position was as Vice President of North American Operations for RSB Transmissions.

Paul received an MBA from Bowling Green State University, and a BS in Systems Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. In addition to his formal education he is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, with additional training in TBM Lean Training, and Toyota Production System.
