President & CEO – Stalcop LP
Ronald K. St. Clair — Mr. St. Clair joined Stalcop LP in November 1997 as President and CEO. Mr. St. Clair's current role includes the day-to-day executive and strategic management of Stalcop LP and its US, German and Czech business units. He is responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans; business unit budgets and capital budgets to achieve agreed upon revenues, earnings and equity growth targets.
Mr. St. Clair has had significant experience as a senior manager. His previous leadership positions include: Executive Vice President and COO of a privately-owned retail interior design and fixture/furniture company; Vice President, Operations of a privately-owned multi-plant specialty, stainless-steel sand-casting foundry; Resident Manager of a division of a privately-owned multi-plant manufacturer of Class II and Class III specialty paper and disposable paper medical products company; Director of Operations of a privately-owned manufacturer of brand-name durable consumer products; Business Unit Manager of a division of a public manufacturer of Class I, II and III durable and disposable medical products; and Director of Business Development of a division of a public industrial products company.
Mr. St. Clair received an Executive MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a BS in Marketing (Magna Cum Laude) from Upper Iowa University, and an AS in Quality Technology (with honors) from Rock Valley College.
Vice President, Marketing and Business Development – Stalcop LP
Michel Monnier — Mr. Monnier joined Stalcop in May 1999 as Director of International Operations. Mr. Monnier's current role includes the day-to-day executive management of all aspects of Stalcop's marketing, sales, and process engineering programs. He has hiring, termination, compensation and budget authority over all Stalcop marketing, sales, and engineering personnel. He is responsible for achieving the revenue bookings growth plan at the budgeted margin-after-material target value and expanding into new market segments.
Prior to his current assignment Mr. Monnier held positions as Vice President of Engineering and Vice President of Operations, where he helped implement the Stalcop Production System, improve productivity at the German division, and a structured new product/process development process. Prior to joining Stalcop, Mr. Monnier worked for 17 years with the BIC Corporation and held various manufacturing, and engineering positions. In his roles with BIC, he was responsible for operations and technical development in France, the United States, and Brazil.
Mr. Monnier received an Executive MBA (with honors) from the University of Indianapolis, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Mr. Monnier's native language is French. He is fluent in written and spoken English and is competent in Spanish and Portuguese.
Vice President and General Manager – Stalcop US
Jayson H. Watts — Mr. Watts joined Stalcop in February 2004 as Vice President, Operations. Mr. Watts' current role includes the day-to-day operations management of Stalcop US. He has hiring, termination, compensation and budget authority over all Stalcop manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, quality, production control, materials management, purchasing, and human resources personnel. He is responsible for achieving the sales plan at the budgeted manufacturing costs.
Mr. Watts has had significant experience as a senior manufacturing executive. His previous leadership positions include: Vice President Operations of an Austrian-owned US based packaging equipment manufacturer; Vice President Operations of a privately-owned multi-plant precision sheet metal manufacturer; and General Manager of a division of a public company that manufactured electronic products. Mr. Watts brings extensive experience in effectively implementing lean manufacturing.
Mr. Watts' received an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a BS in Computer Science from California State University.
Works Manager – Stalcop Illg GmbH
Dieter Wels — Mr. Wels, a German national, joined Stalcop Germany in April 2000. Mr. Wels is currently responsible for the day-to-day operations management of the Stalcop Illg business unit. He has hiring, termination, assignment, compensation, and budget authority over all Stalcop Illg engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, quality, tool room, production control, accounting, and administration personnel. He is responsible for achieving the sales and profit plan at the budgeted manufacturing costs. Mr. Wels was instrumental in increasing production at Stalcop Illg to run three shifts per day and seven days per week as required.
Prior to working at Stalcop, Mr. Wels held various positions as factory manager for several different divisions of private and public companies with manufacturing sites in Ireland, France, Bosnia, and Germany. He has in depth experience in manufacturing, purchasing, and scheduling for multiple-shift requirements.
Mr. Wels has professional training in tool making, is state certified as a mechanical-Engineering Technician and was a warrant officer in the military. Mr. Wels' native language is German. He is fluent in written and spoken English and has a working knowledge of French.
General Manager – Technicka Keramika a.s.
Milos Komarek — Mr. Komarek, a Czech national, joined Stalcop Germany in July 2005 when Stalcop purchased a majority in his company in the Czech Republic. Mr. Komarek is currently responsible for the day-to-day executive management of the Technicka Keramika business unit. He has hiring, termination, assignment, compensation, and budget authority over all Technicka Keramika engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, quality, tool room, production control, accounting, and administration personnel. He is responsible for achieving the business unit sales and profit plan at the budgeted manufacturing costs.
Prior to working at Stalcop, Mr. Komarek was the owner of Technicka Keramika. In 1992, he led the privatization of TK from a larger Czech company. Under his ownership, TK relocated to new facilities, streamlined manufacturing, and focused on specific western European market segments. Prior to privatizing TK, Mr. Komarek held positions in ceramic engineering with a large state-owned corporation.
Mr. Komarek received a BS degree in Ceramic Engineering from the University of Podebrady. Mr. Komarek's native language is Czech. He is competent in written and spoken English and is fluent in written and spoken Russian.
